Why electronics wear out faster near the ocean
Salt air, sand and humidity get into laptop fans, keyboards and charging ports. A laptop that runs hot, shuts off without warning or only charges at a certain angle often just needs a proper internal cleaning or a new port, not a replacement. We also see TVs and speakers on patios and lanais that were mounted with indoor hardware and have started to rust. We swap in weather-rated mounts and keep cables out of the weather.
Home offices and vacation rentals
A lot of people at the Beaches work from home, and a lot of homes here are rented out part of the year. We set up reliable Wi-Fi, printers and backups for home offices, and for rentals we set up TVs, streaming and smart locks so guests can manage on their own and you don’t get calls at midnight.
Ponte Vedra and Nocatee homes
Newer homes often have media niches, conduit and a wiring panel that was never fully set up. We mount the TVs, run the connections, and install mesh Wi-Fi that reaches the pool deck and the garage gym.
